We are seeking a talented and enthusiastic Controls Programmer to join our dynamic team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a dedicated team of professionals in a fast-paced, innovative, and challenging environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for the development, implementation, and maintenance of control systems and software. Our ideal candidate is a problem-solver who is able to think outside the box, has a keen eye for detail, and a passion for engineering.
Responsibilities:
As a Controls Programmer, you will:
1. Design, develop, and implement control systems and software for automated processes. 2. Work closely with the engineering team to integrate control systems with machine functions. 3. Develop and maintain HMI interfaces to improve the functionality and user-friendliness of our systems. 4. Program and troubleshoot plant electrical control programs to ensure optimal performance. 5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve control system issues. 6. Participate in the commissioning of new equipment and systems. 7. Provide technical support and training to end-users. 8. Continuously improve and update control systems and software as per the latest industry standards and technology advancements. 9. Document all control system and software changes and developments.
Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you should possess: Experience with Rockwell Automation
1. An A.S. degree in Electrical Technology or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in control system programming. 3. Extensive knowledge of HMI interfaces and plant electrical control programs. 4. Strong programming skills and a deep understanding of control system architectures. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex control systems. 6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner. 7. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. 8. Strong attention to detail and a commitment to excellence. 9. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, prioritizing workload to meet deadlines. 10. A proactive approach to learning and developing new skills.
