About MyPath
MyPath, a national non-profit headquartered in the Mission District of San Francisco, is focused on paving economic pathways for BIPOC youth and young adults from low-income communities. MyPath partners with youth-focused systems and networks, financial services providers and nonprofits to provide training and technical assistance that ensures that low-income BIPOC youth's first income streams are opportunities to bank and to build credit, savings and financial confidence, the foundations of wealth-building. MyPath's innovations have transformed the landscape of financial capability and wealth-building opportunities for BIPOC young people, most recently with our efforts in Financial Mentoring and Guaranteed Income. Our results and best practices have spotlighted the power of first paychecks as opportunities to engage youth in financial capability and have been published by the Federal Reserve Bank of San Francisco, the Journal of Consumer Affairs, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and others.
