ArtCenter College of Design is searching for an experienced Coordinator, Annual Giving & Development Communications to join our team.

The salary range for this position: $50,000.00 - 54,000.00

Finalsalary is based on education, experience, skills relevant to therole, and internal equity.

Reporting to the executive director, coordinator, will be responsible for providing administrative and operational support for the Annual Giving team as well as support with development communications for the Advancement team. The incumbent will provide annual giving programmatic support, project management, communications support, and stewardship support to build and implement an internal and external annual giving and communications strategy that includes general philanthropic commitments, annual giving campaigns, donor relations communications and collateral that support a culture of philanthropy.

This is a full-time position. Normal business hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. or as defined by the department. The position is eligible for flexible scheduling and can be performed hybrid with the expectation of at least 4 days in the office or required as a condition of employment. The demands of this work may include weekends or evenings. The college reserves the right to modify schedules as needed to meet the business needs with appropriate notice.

Essential Functions

Administrative - 40%

Serve as primary administrative support to provide departmental administrative and clerical support; implement improved operational procedures and programs; write and distribute correspondence Maintain and keep current the department calendar for scheduled meetings, time away from the office and special events Assist advancement team with communications including, but not limited to, contracts and other legal documents and proposals as needed for processing and signatures Coordinate, process and track all department purchasing and expenses, prepare expense reports, process purchase orders, check requisitions, wire transfers, payment forms and assist in the compilation of any other administrative documentation for the departments Process gift agreements for signatures via Adobe Sign Coordinate (and attend) meetings and events with various ArtCenter teams, community members, and partner organizations as appropriate Coordinate, organize, onboard and track student workers, authorize and submit copies of Student Employment Authorization Forms to Employee Experience; maintain digital records Enforce all College policies, including safety protocols Fundraising and Donor Relations - 30%

Assist with annual giving solicitations for the College to maximize donor acquisition and retention, collaborating closely with the advancement services team to implement data-driven strategies for appeal messaging, formats, and segmentation Participate in team discussions and strategies for programs and initiatives such as FullCircle, ArtCenter100, exhibitions patrons, and special micro-campaigns Collaborate with advancement colleagues to boost alumni giving participation Conduct student outreach when necessary Help identify student scholarship impact stories for strategic use in various Development donor relations and university-wide communications Coordinate initiatives, opportunities, and events, virtual and in person, that recognize and engage donors. Provide broad editorial support for content and collateral related to donor stewardship, recognition and engagement Collaborate and assist in selected volunteer groups, advisory boards and community groups to help strengthen the College's relationships with donors and prospective donors As needed, assist with acceptance of lower-level gifts-in-kind Communications and Marketing

Assist the executive director, annual giving and development communications with the development and implementation of a long-term, informed communications, donor relations and marketing vision, strategy, and its execution, development of key messages, distribution on relevant channels, and measurement of the results Assist with copywriting and editing of internal and external communications and donor relations collateral, digital and print, such as emails, social media posts, website pages, talking points and other marketing and development materials In collaboration and input from executive director, annual giving and development communications, identify and manage projects from origin through to execution Design and send communications to ArtCenter constituents on the central email platform on behalf of advancement and other campus constituents as needed Assist with social media strategy, campaigns, and content to further the mission of the advancement office. Coordinate marketing and fundraising campaigns, programs, and events for all advancement units. Oversee multiple projects independently; often meeting tight deadlines Non-Essential - 5%

Serve on educational or college-wide committees, work groups, task forces and/or councils Other duties as assigned Required Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED equivalent At least 3 years of progressively responsible experience in office or general administrative environments and managing projects Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to organize and complete multiple tasks simultaneously with close attention to detail and prioritization to meet deadlines Strong commitment to annual giving contributions and the donor experience Ability to maintain good working relationships with various internal and external stakeholders related to the ongoing operations of the department, including professional associates, donors, administrators, faculty, staff, students, and alumni Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Sign, databases, online communications platforms, and design and video editing tools Ability to work evening hours, occasional weekends to staff events Demonstrated experience in cultivating the values of diversity, equity, inclusion, access and belonging into work practices within Art Center's diverse communities Ability to work effectively both independently and within groups Ability to handle all information with tact and discretion and recognizes the confidential nature of ArtCenter business Ability to enforce and implement policies and procedures Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or institution Previous experience in fundraising, development, and/or alumni relations Experience with Raiser's Edge NXT Background or interest in art and design Prior work experience in higher education
