You are:

A Supply Chain and Operations professional who helps clients in implementing & optimizing the end-to-end planning process across supply chain and operations, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and driving efficiency. You will work with clients in leading & implementing Sales & Operations planning, demand planning, supply planning, production scheduling, and inventory management capabilities to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of products.

As part of the working with the clients you lead & advise several aspects of integrated planning including:

  1. Integrated Planning Strategy: Develop and implement integrated planning strategies for clients that align with organizational goals, ensuring the optimal flow of goods and services from suppliers to customers.
  2. S&OP: Lead S&OP planning including S&OP cycle of demand review, supply review, pre-Exec & Exec S&OP reviews.
  3. Demand and Supply Planning: Develop Demand and supply planning processes for clients, including forecasting, production planning, procurement, and inventory management to balance supply with demand while meeting service level targets.
  4. S&OE: Enable strategic and tactical plans developed during the S&OP process and ensuring they are implemented smoothly across the supply chain.
  5. Inventory Optimization: Develop inventory management strategies, ensuring optimal inventory levels across locations while reducing excess stock, stockouts, and working capital investment.
  6. Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline operations, improve forecasting accuracy, and reduce lead times.
  7. Performance Management: Identify and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) for supply chain performance.
  8. Operating Model: Develop governance & operating model across sales, marketing, production, and logistics.
  9. Stakeholder Engagement: Regularly communicate with internal stakeholders to provide updates on planning performance and to ensure alignment on goals.
  10. Risk Management: Proactively identify potential supply chain risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  11. Reporting & Analytics: Provide insights into supply chain performance through data analysis and reporting.

The work:

  1. Find solutions to clients’ supply chain and operations integrated planning related challenges.
  2. Advocate leading practices, policies & procedures for integrated planning.
  3. Spot and solve challenges using your analytical & strategy skills.
  4. Lead workshops that look for ways to improve organizations and processes.
  5. Determine what methods and procedures to use when completing projects.
  6. Give clients insights that help make their companies work better, faster, and more efficiently.
  7. Challenge legacy ways of working using constructive techniques.
  8. Use digital tech to help clients find new ways to make their orgs more effective and efficient.
  9. Lead medium to large sized teams with diverse backgrounds skills and knowledge.
  10. Effectively manage and coach others, collaborating with internal and external parties.
  11. Support client sales origination and thought leadership development.
  12. Ensure that projects help clients meet their key goals.
  13. Drive a positive impact in the communities where we work and live.

Travel Expectations:

Hybrid approach is current norm – roughly 30-50% travel expected based on client needs.

Here’s what you need:

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience working on Supply Chain initiatives.
  2. Minimum of 5 years of experience working on Integrated Planning initiatives.
  3. Minimum of 8 years of experience in relevant industries.
  4. Minimum of 5 years of external experience at a consulting firm or 8 years of internal consulting experience.
  5. Bachelor's degree or equivalent.

Bonus points if:

  1. You have a deep specialization in strategies for one or more of the following: Demand Forecasting, S&OP, S&OE, Inventory Planning.
  2. You have the proven ability to work creatively and analytically in a problem-solving environment.
  3. You excel in building and developing relationships.
  4. You’ve earned an MBA or equivalent graduate degree.
  5. You have a functional-level understanding of integrated planning technology solutions.
  6. Lean or Six Sigma qualifications.
  7. You can use the latest data analytics tools to spot opportunities for improvement.

Compensation:

Compensation at Accenture varies depending on a wide array of factors. As required by local law, Accenture provides a reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in specific locations.
