Job Details

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mechanical Engineering Project Manager with a strong background in building design and consturction. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and overseeing all aspects of multiple complex projects, from inception to completion. You will be required to demonstrate your skills in project management, project scheduling and resource allocation, budget management, design review and construction document preparation.

Responsibilities:

1. Manage and oversee all aspects of mechanical engineering projects from conception to completion for our construction projects. 2. Allocate the necessary manpower to ensure the smooth and efficient running of projects. 3. Create and maintain comprehensive project schedules, ensuring that all tasks are executed on time and within budget. 4. Manage project budgets, ensuring that all financial aspects of the project are accurately tracked and reported. 5. Conduct regular design reviews, ensuring that all designs meet the required standards and specifications. 6. Prepare and review construction documents, ensuring that they are accurate, comprehensive, and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards. 7. Oversee the design of buildings, ensuring that they are functional and compliant with all relevant regulations and standards. 8. Collaborate with other professionals such as architects, contractors, and clients to ensure the success of the project. 9. Monitor project progress, identify potential issues, and implement solutions to mitigate risks. 10. Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders, ensuring that they are kept informed of project progress.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Architecture, Civil Engineering or related field. A Master’s degree will be a plus. 2. A minimum of 5 years of successful experience in managing multiple, multidisciplined complex projects or multiple small projects. 3. Proven experience in managing and overseeing multiple complex projects simultaneously. 4. Professional registration is encouraged but not required. 5. Membership and participation in professional organizations is encouraged but not required..
