We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Tax Senior Associate to join our well-established and growing team!
This role offers an excellent opportunity to utilize and expand your tax preparation and planning skills in a supportive and friendly environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax compliance for individuals, partnerships, and s-corporations with a desire to grow into a leadership role with the firm.
Responsibilities:
1. Preparation and review of federal income taxes for individuals, partnerships, estates, trusts, and small corporations. 2. Research and analyze complex tax issues, interpret tax regulations, and develop tax planning strategies. 3. Utilize CCH software for tax preparation, planning, and research. 4. Ensure accurate, timely filing of consolidated federal, state, and local income tax returns and other business-related filings. 5. Develop strong client relationships through ongoing communication and exceptional service.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. 2. CPA certification is highly desirable. 3. At least 3-5+ years of experience as a Senior Tax Accountant or a similar role in the finance industry. 4. Proficiency in CCH or similar tax software. (preferred) 5. Experience with payroll tax reporting and QuickBooks (preferred)
