Apply today!\n \n The salary range for this position is $18.12-$28.39 based on experience!\n **Applicants will be placed in the appropriate job title based on their experience and education**\n Responsibilities:\n\nMaintains transport vehicle in efficient operating condition.\nAssist in moving patients.\nIdentifies assessment findings, which may require communications with medical direction for advice and for notification that special professional services and assistance be immediately available upon arrival at the medical facility.\nMaintains appropriate documentation of patient care, incident reports and other necessary reports.\nReports verbally and in writing their observation and emergency medical care of the patient at the emergency scene for purposes of records and diagnostics. Upon request, provides assistance to the transporting ambulance.\nEncourages a safe, pleasant work environment for Team Members.\nResponds to emergency calls to provide efficient and immediate care to the critically ill and injured (within PA-DOH scope of practice and PA DOH protocols).\nInteracts and communicates with various groups and individuals utilizing customer service skills.\nEnsures that the transport vehicle and equipment is clean and washed and kept in a neat orderly condition.\nAttends continuing education and refresher training programs as required by employers, medical direction, licensing or certifying agencies.\nEnsures quality health and medical care for guests and employees at assigned locations.\nDriving an ambulance in a safe manner following policies and traffic laws.\n\nHigh School Diploma (or equivalent) required\nPrevious ambulance and/or hospital experience preferred\n\n Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:North Central Pennsylvania and Central Pennsylvania allow for the Emergency Vehicle Operator (EMSVO) certification to be obtained within 90 days of hire.
