DTS is looking for Senior Project Manager for our Direct Client position based in Minneapolis, MN Job Overview We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Project Manager to lead technical projects focused on infrastructure, network, and security initiatives. This role requires a collaborative leader with deep project management expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills. Key Responsibilities Project / Program Planning & Management Develop comprehensive project plans using Waterfall and Agile methodologies. Define project scope, goals, deliverables, and timelines. Coordinate internal resources and external vendors to execute project plans within agreed baselines. Utilize departmental tools for project tracking, reporting, and documentation. Team Leadership Lead and mentor project teams, including junior project managers. Foster a collaborative and productive team environment. Ensure clear roles, responsibilities, and deliverables across teams. Drive change management and conflict resolution within assigned projects. Stakeholder Management Build strong relationships with project sponsors and key stakeholders. Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and executive management. Ensure alignment of project goals with business objectives. Risk & Issue Management Identify, assess, and manage project risks and issues with mitigation planning. Monitor and report project progress and performance throughout the project lifecycle. Budget & Resource Management Develop and manage project budgets per governance standards. Allocate resources effectively using demand management and capacity planning. Monitor expenditures and ensure adherence to budget constraints. Transformation & Organizational Change Management Lead project-specific transformation and change management initiatives to ensure solution adoption. Process Improvement Support continuous improvement of project management processes and methodologies. Stay informed of industry trends and emerging best practices. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements Education: High school diploma or GED AND nine (9) years of experience managing IT and business projects, including at least two (2) years in a lead role collaborating across multiple divisions and organizational levels. Degree Equivalencies: Associate’s degree counts as two years of experience. Bachelor’s degree (or higher) counts as four years of experience.
