Job Description The Systems Analyst works primarily in Oracle client/server enterprise application environment (Student Administration, Financials or HR/Payroll) and Legacy / Mainframe environment. Responsible for all activities related to code development. Designs and develops all aspects of data conversion. Codes individual modules and complex functions. Designs and develops application tables, panels and reports for projects. Responsible for software integration and external interface development. Assists less experienced analysts. Participates as a team member and function, when assigned, as a project lead throughout the entire the life cycle of the development process including project planning, gathering actual results and project status. Able to use project management software and techniques as a planning and reporting method for the life cycle of assigned projects. Possesses sufficient understanding of business areas and/or functions necessary to successfully undertake technical analysis, design construction and implementation. Codes solutions to problems using a structured approach, keeping in mind long term maintainability and quick accessibility. Tests coded solutions properly against customer acceptance criteria to ensure a quality application. Documents consistently and accurately on all application projects. Communicates and maintains a productive working relationship with user base of product/service line as well as all appropriate parties to an assignment, both internal and external to IS. Reports appropriate and correct status to project leadership, Manager and Director. Improves technical knowledge and advocate new technologies when appropriate for projects. Proficiency in HTML, CSS, Java and JavaScript. Familiarity with API Management, AWS , Azure and Google Platform Knowledge of Salesforce programming languages such as Apex, Visualforce and Lightning Components Proficiency in CI/CD process (Gearset Preferred). Completes other duties as assigned. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science. Master's Degree Preferred. Four (4) plus experience with various operating environments, toolsets, and methodologies. Experience using SQL, Cobol, Oracle Forms, Oracle Workflow, Java, Visual Basic, Database technologies. Understanding of RAD, SCLC, Client Server / Distributed Application Design and Development, High Level Data Definition Techniques. Advanced analytical skill set, Interpersonal Skills, Communication Skills, and Problem Solving. Additional Information In support of the pay transparency laws enacted across the country, the expected salary range for this position is between $61,720.78 and $108,334.92. Actual pay will be adjusted based on job-related factors permitted by law, such as experience and training; geographic location; licensure and certifications; market factors; departmental budgets; and responsibility.
