Job Title: Data Modeler with Snowflake and Data Vault Experience Location: Atlanta, GA Experience: 13 Years W2 Contract Job Description: We are seeking an experienced Data Modeler with expertise in Snowflake and Data Vault methodologies to join our team in Atlanta, GA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data modeling, data architecture, and designing scalable data solutions for enterprise-level applications. This role requires a hands-on professional who can lead data modeling initiatives and collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement innovative data strategies. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and maintain data models using Snowflake and Data Vault 2.0 methodologies. Create conceptual, logical, and physical data models to support data warehousing and analytics requirements. Optimize data models for performance and scalability within the Snowflake environment. Collaborate with business stakeholders, data architects, and ETL developers to gather requirements and deliver data solutions that align with business goals. Ensure data models meet best practices for data governance, data quality, and security. Implement and document data modeling standards and procedures. Perform data analysis to support data modeling efforts and validate data requirements. Work with data engineers to design and implement efficient data pipelines and transformations. Develop and maintain metadata repositories and data dictionaries. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues and provide technical support for data modeling activities. Required Skills and Experience: 13 years of experience in data modeling, data architecture, or related roles. Proficiency in Snowflake and hands-on experience with its features, such as Time Travel, Zero-Copy Cloning, and Materialized Views. Strong expertise in Data Vault 2.0 methodology for data warehousing. Experience with SQL and performance optimization for large datasets. Knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles. Familiarity with ETL/ELT processes and tools. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proven ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Familiarity with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or similar. Experience with Agile methodologies and project management tools like Jira. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or a related field.
