What You'll Do: The Designer works closely with the Design Manager to develop and execute assigned categories with the seasonal trend concept and merchandise strategy from inception to completion. They will manage the design execution process to ensure all deadlines are met.

Pull inspiration tears, fabrics, and trims at the start of each season to set the season’s direction. Demonstrate knowledge of lingerie fabrications, especially laces and embroideries. Successfully communicate design vision to the Design Manager and work closely on the development of pipeline bras and in-season bralettes. Stay abreast of trends and resources in the intimate apparel space; consistently shop and research the marketplace for inspiration, product trend direction, and competitive market insights. Lead the design and development of pipeline and in-season bralettes. Partner with Product Development (PD) on innovation for bra and panty development, including new fabrics, trims, hardware, and other components. Use Illustrator CAD skills to create and present design concepts. Confidently present in-season bralettes and pipeline ideas to leadership and large groups. Attend vendor meetings as needed to discuss fabrics, trims, and other design elements. Collaborate with the Merchandising team to ensure design intent is well-translated and aligned with product vision and aesthetic. Ensure that all designs are within cost parameters and adhere to the in-season product development calendar and pipeline calendar. Attend weekly Pipeline fits, weekly Cross-Functional Team (CFT) meetings, bi-weekly in-season fits, milestone meetings, monthly pipeline meetings, and bi-annual Whitespace meetings What You'll Need:

High school diploma required. Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree is preferred. Five (5) + years of design experience, including intimate apparel design. Proficiency in intimate apparel design, with a strong focus on bralettes and bras. In-depth knowledge of lingerie materials, including laces, embroideries, and other fabrics used in intimate apparel. Extensive design and conceptual skills. Skilled in Illustrator CAD for design and presentation purposes Ability to work closely with Design Managers, Product Development teams, and Merchandising teams, with a focus on innovating and developing new fabrics, trims, and other components. Technical knowledge of fabric construction finishes and techniques. Skilled in clearly articulating design vision and presenting ideas to stakeholders. Able to work effectively in a team environment, providing honest, direct feedback, and excelling in both verbal and written communication. Meet deadlines, prioritize appropriately, cope well with change, and maintain composure under pressure. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple projects, adhere to development calendars, and meet deadlines. Timely sense of trends and market direction encompassing color, fabric, and silhouette. Flexibility to deadline demands, seasonal schedules, and possible travel (domestic & international). Articulate design intent in a fit room environment with cross functional team members.
