Specialty:oOrthopedic Surgeon Coverage Needs: o12/2/24 9/1/25oPotential for ongoing Shifts: oM-F: 8-5 plus late afternoon add-ons; possible weekend rounding + patient call (not ED call of Weekend OR)oWill spend time 50/50 - Clinic vs OR oCan be a bit flexible with schedule Census: oAnticipated surgeries per week: 5-15Setting: oTrauma Level 3oCVPH Ortho Clinic/ORSupport Staff: oWill have APP support Procedures: oWide Range of Orthopedic Trauma cases oSecondary priority is total knee and hip elective cases oFracture & bread and butter ortho trauma, Elective Total Joint replacementsEMR: oEPICBoard Certification: oRequired oTrauma or joints fellowship preferred but not requiredTravel: oHospital will coverCredentialing timeline:o60-90 days for full privilegesRequirements:oActive NY license oClean background preferred for quick credentialing
