The Opportunity

To achieve our ambitious goals, we’re looking for a Director of Engineering, Growth Platform to join our Growth Engineering organization. This role will lead the engineering team that designs, builds, and maintains scalable growth platforms to drive user acquisition, engagement, retention, and monetization. This role combines strategic leadership with hands-on technical expertise to ensure the success of growth initiatives through data-driven platforms, ML, AI, and tools that enable seamless experimentation, personalization, and automation at scale. As an engineering leader of the Growth platform team, your key responsibilities include: Leadership and strategy to define and execute the technical strategy. Platform development and optimization to oversee the design, development, and deployment of scalable platforms using ML, AI, and data-driven solutions. Collaboration and stakeholder management across multiple teams, functions, and leadership. Technical execution with cutting-edge technologies using machine learning, artificial intelligence, Data platforms, and large-scale distributed systems. In your first 30 days, you should be able to successfully complete your orientation, learn, integrate with the team effectively, evaluate the current state, and deliver some quick wins. In your first 60 days, you should be able to develop a roadmap, optimize the team, get involved in technical contributions, collaborate with stakeholders, and be deeply involved in current systems. In your first 90 days, you should be able to execute the roadmap, establish metrics and technical excellence, foster team growth, create cross-functional impact, and lead strategic planning. Qualifications

10+ years of experience in software engineering or ML engineering, with at least 5 years in a leadership role. Proven track record of leading and managing engineering teams to deliver high-impact projects. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills with an ability to prioritize and manage multiple initiatives simultaneously. Extensive experience in software engineering and ML engineering, focusing on growth, experimentation platforms, and scalable back-end systems. Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks, growth loops, and personalization engines. Previous experience in growth-focused roles or working with growth platforms is highly desirable. Our US locations are categorized into two compensation zones based on proximity to our hub locations. Base pay may vary considerably depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
