Ameriprise Financial is seeking a Director of Treasury to join our team! This opportunity will lead and manage Treasury hedging programs to mitigate market risks to the Corporate Balance Sheet, providing analytical and strategic leadership for any new and ongoing hedging related initiatives. As the Director, you will drive and provide analytical support for balance sheet, liquidity, and/or capital management initiatives, including managing credit facilities, debt issuances, and rating agencies relationships. Key Responsibilities
Provide thoughtful leadership for Treasury managed hedging programs to mitigate equity, interest risk and FX exposures related to the Corporate Balance Sheet (e.g. Seed Money, Deferred Compensation, Foreign Exchange). Collect and research data to generate critical reports related to hedge performance and other risk metrics (Earnings at Risk). Partner with business/product leadership and other Finance partners. Drive and conduct complex analytics for capital, liquidity, and/or risk management initiatives and reports for the enterprise and its key subsidiaries, including managing credit facilities, debt issuances, and rating agencies relationships. Deliver on departmental and cross-functional projects, including presentation of findings and recommendations to senior management and risk committees as needed. Assist in developing team goals, objectives and annual accountabilities. Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree (Finance, Economics, Mathematics, accounting or related field of study). 7-10+ years of proven experience. Strong understanding of concepts related to derivatives and hedging. Dynamic and effective leadership, interpersonal and oral/written communication skills. Ability to work independently and handle multiple priorities. Strong analytical and technical skills including advanced technical skills in MS Office, particularly Excel. Bloomberg experience is a plus. Preferred Qualifications
