Manager/Director - Gift, Estate & Trust
to join our Private Client Tax practice in Wisconsin. How you'll
create opportunities
in this Manager/Director - Gift, Estate & Trust role: Manage and develop relationships with new business development, existing clients and mentoring team members. Develop client relationships by delivering a full range of gift, estate & trust tax planning and consulting services. Provide planning strategies minimizing estate taxes, business succession, and asset protection. Review high net worth individual income tax returns and collaborate with CLA's Wealth Advisory practice. Thrive in an entrepreneurial environment that offers flexibility, autonomy, and encouragement to make things happen. Lead the engagement progress by monitoring time, budgets and deadlines for adherence. Communicate important developments to the engagement principal along with facts, conclusions, and recommendations. What you will need: You have a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. You have a minimum of 6 years of public accounting or professional services experience working with high net worth (HNW) clients with an emphasis in gift, estate and trust, and individual tax planning and compliance. CPA license certification is required. A JD degree or Enrolled Agent (EA) certification may be accepted in lieu of a CPA license.
