As a
Director, Strategy , you will collaborate with executive leaders to tackle their business’ most pressing challenges and drive critical strategic, commercial, operational, technological, and organizational initiatives. With a diverse team experienced in consulting, agriculture, commercialization, operations, and finance, WSG works closely with company leaders to develop growth strategies, enhance operational and technological efficiencies, and foster the long-term health of their organizations. We also regularly partner with Marketing, Brand, Insights, and other functions to grow demand for our products and drive commercial growth. Your role will form robust and enduring partnerships with company leadership and C-level executives and help drive the future of The Wonderful Company. We work a hybrid schedule with an in-office requirement Monday-Wednesday and the option to work remotely on Thursday and Friday. Job Description
Lead a team of internal strategists dedicated to a specific Wonderful Company business unit. Work directly with business leadership to identify and set long-term strategic priorities as well as taking initiative to address critical short-term needs. Support the development and execution of sophisticated strategic plans through team and resource management, project planning, relationship management, and executive communications. Collaborate across functions, levels, and groups (e.g., Insights, Marketing, Finance, Operations) to drive growth and reduce waste. Push key growth, operational, technological, and organizational improvements forward and hold teams accountable for deliverables and deadlines. Build and maintain strong partnerships with leadership at business units. Manage a full portfolio of projects and prioritize work. Manage and mentor internal team members. Participate in ongoing skill development and leadership training. Travel occasionally to specified counties for direct collaboration with business partners. Travel Required:
Occasional travel to San Joaquin Valley (Kern, Kings, Tulare, Fresno Counties), Napa, Sonoma, and San Luis Obispo Counties. These day trips can be up to ~20% of the time (1 day per week). Professional Development

Minimum of 10-15 years of relevant experience in strategy, consulting, operations, finance, or related fields. Experience in consumer products heavily preferred. Strong leadership and team management capabilities. Experience managing teams and developing junior employees. MBA or equivalent graduate degree preferred. Exceptional problem-solving skills, especially in ambiguous or undefined situations. Proactive, self-starter attitude with a track record of taking initiative.
