Project Manager

Crankstart is seeking a Project Manager to lead the planning and execution of large, complex, and strategically significant projects across a range of programmatic strategy areas (Economic Mobility, Education, Democracy, Housing Security, Environment, and Medical Science and Innovation) and organizational operations for the foundation.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead project planning and execution for various programmatic strategy areas.
Manage end-to-end organizational strategic and operational planning processes, including goal setting and budget forecasting.
Collaborate with teams to add immediate value and organization.
Utilize informal influence and non-positional leadership to accomplish work.
Synthesize complex concepts and information to make informed decisions.
Qualifications:
Five+ years of professional experience in the private sector with at least 2+ years of direct project management responsibilities.
A passion for leveraging experience for social good and a commitment to social justice.
A track record as a high-capacity generalist.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Organized and detail-oriented with a strong reputation for effective leadership.
The starting salary for this role is $185,000 - $205,000. This position is a hybrid role based in San Francisco and reports to the Senior Program Officer – Democracy & Environment.
