Additional $2.00/hour shift differential from 3pm -- 6am
Shift: 2nd - D Crew (every other Wednesday through Saturday)
Hours: 6:00 a.m. to 6:30pm

What we need from you:
- Associates degree or equivalent experience and 5-7 years of related experience
- Understanding of Ethernet networks, IP addressing, wiring, and cable patching
- Detailed understanding of PLC's is required: PLC5SLC500, Compact/Contrologix.
- Strong ability to utilize Factory TalkView Studio, RSLogix500, Studio 500 Professional, and Panel View 32
- Ability to read/understand blueprints and schematics
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals and calculate figures and amounts such as proportions, percentages, area circumference, and volume
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to comply with all general safety policies and procedures in accordance with Company, Local, State, and Federal Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) rules and regulations
- Ability to obtain a valid forklift license
- Must be able to lift ninety (90)
- Responsible for performing design and maintenance of control networks, ladder logic programming, and plant software
- Maintains calibration of measuring instrumentation, electrical, and mechanical equipment
- Performs calibration and maintains electronic measuring, instrumentation recording, and indicating instruments electrical mechanical equipment
- Maintains detailed mapping of Ethernet networks including IP addresses, wiring switches, and cable patching
- Manages revision control PLC Logic including PLC5, SLC500, and Compact/Contrologix. Utilizes Factory Talk View Studio, RSLogix500, Studio 500 Professional, and Panel View 32 to maintain and optimize controls systems throughout the plant
- Ensures system integration of Information Technology (IT) systems with Operations Technology (OT) systems function on daily basis
- Optimizes plant processes by editing and/or writing ladder logic programming for a variety of systems
- Performs standard to more complex repairs and is responsible to receive adjust and install new plant equipment ensuring the proper electrical performance; operate a variety of power hand and shop tools as required
- Responsible for the diagnosis of electrical, mechanical, plumbing, and similar problems and apply appropriate corrective action
- Reads and interprets schematic drawings and diagrams required to perform maintenance on or install plant equipment
- Performs advanced electrician duties including, but not limited to, using a voltage meter to check high and low voltage reading on equipment, checking for open circuits for line voltage, troubleshooting frequency, drives for proper operation understanding all aspects of an electrical schematic and troubleshooting/replacing I/O modules in a PLC
- Participates in and successfully completes training directed at increasing job-related trade skills as mandated by management/supervisor
- Performs all duties in accordance with USDA, company policy, and established procedures and maintains clean work area
- Performs PM's inspections and verifications on all control components
- Performs frequency drives, writes drive logic in PLC code, creates HMI applications, uploads and downloads PLC Programs and HMI applications, programs ladder logic to troubleshoot equipment, integrates new processes into equipment, sets up network communications, and sets up advanced routing of Ethernet protocols
- The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is required; including but not limited to bump cap, safety glasses/goggles, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves and safety shoes or rubber boots
