They are driven by core values such as integrity, innovation, and creativity through diversity.DescriptionOur client is seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to manage and oversee large-scale construction projects. In this role, you will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to ensure the successful completion of projects, on time, within budget, and with a focus on safety and quality standards.The Assistant Project Manager - Education Projects - DC Area will have the following responsibilities: * Oversee and manage ground-up building projects, each with a value of at least $20 million. * Coordinate project teams, including subcontractors, vendors, and other stakeholders. * Track and report project progress, ensuring deadlines, budgets, and project goals are met. * Maintain project budgets and forecasts, ensuring all financial targets are adhered to. * Collaborate with departments and clients to maintain high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. * Use project management software to track, document, and communicate project details.ProfileThe Assistant Project Manager - Education Projects - DC Area will have: * At least 3 years of experience as an Assistant Project Manager in the construction industry. * Proven experience in overseeing projects such as apartments, hospitals, schools, or libraries in the DMV area. * Strong background in managing large-scale projects with values of $20 million or more. * Proficiency in MS Office Suite, Excel, and project management software such as PlanGrid, Procore, Sage 300 Timberline, and Textura. * Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field. * Strong organizational and communication skills.Job OfferThe Assistant Project Manager - Education Projects - DC Area will receive: * Bonus: Up to 10% performance-based * Paid Time Off: 20 days of PTO plus sick days * Health Insurance: 100% paid for the employee * Additional Benefits: Tuition reimbursement, education loan repayment, 401k matching, flexible spending accounts, and more.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
