Sr Power Platform Developer

Title/Role: Sr Power Platform Developer Duration: 4 Months (Extendable) Location: Richmond, VA 23219 - Hybrid Interview Type: Both Web Cam and In Person Interview Local candidates required due to onsite requirement Candidate must be able to work onsite 2-3 days/week or as needed Initial interview is webcam and may request In-Person Interview if needed The successful candidate should have strong communication skills to be effective in both technical and business requirement discussions. Primary responsibilities include: • Configure Dataverse • Create and configure Power Apps\Power Automation (both Canvas and Model-driven Apps) • Configure business process automation • Lead functionality discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions • Programming experience using .NET, SQL , Azure, and C# • Understand the business and its challenges, functionally map a solution to the identified use cases and then develop an APP using Power Platform • Experience with API or rest services integrations with an understanding of how to implement solutions with multiple data sources • Certifications in PowerApps Professional or PowerApps Developer • Participate in code reviews • Enforce standards and best practices • Troubleshoot Power Platform issues; document solutions, and work with system administrators and other IT resources to implement fixes. • Create design solutions and document for common use case scenarios • Preferred Experience with Devops in Power Platform (Power Pipelines/ALM Accelerator) • Develop and disseminate documentation (requirements, recommendations, technical analysis, etc.) on platform usage. • Prepare mockups/prototypes based on requirements and use knowledge of Power Platform features/tools to offer solutions that meet business needs. • Adhere to best practices when implementing business solutions and define/refine a governance approach for the platform's use at VDOT. • Participate in Agile SDLC Skills Required / Desired IT experience as a Senior Developer /Technical Lead; Required 8 Years Experience in SharePoint Online, Microsoft 365 services; Required 5 Years Experience in designing, implementing and migrating solutions utilizing Power Platform, including all : Power Apps, Power BI, Power Automate (Flow), Required 3 Years Experience using PowerShell scripting; Required 4 Years Custom Development experience using .Net, JavaScript and C#; Required 5 Years Experience using standard & premium connectors with PowerApps and Power Automate; Required 3 Years Experience with MS Access and VBA to understand and redesign Power Apps; Required 3 Years Developing Azure logic apps and functions providing support for Power Automate; Required 3 Years Devops in Power Platform; Desired 2 Years
