The ideal candidate will be a seasoned professional with extensive experience in managing tax operations and ensuring compliance with tax regulations. Develop and implement effective audit strategies to ensure compliance 3. Conduct thorough audits, ensuring all financial operations are within the bounds of laws and regulations. 4. Collaborate with the financial team to accurately forecast and provide strategic audit planning. 5. Stay updated on current tax practices and changes in tax law. 6. Review and update the company's tax policies and procedures regularly. 7. Liaise with external auditors and tax consultants, managing audits and inquiries by tax authorities. 8. Provide guidance and support to the accounting team on tax-related matters. 9. Prepare accurate and timely tax reports for senior management and board of directors. 10. Drive continuous improvement in the tax department by streamlining processes and implementing innovative tax management solutions. Qualifications: 1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA certification is required. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting 3. Comprehensive knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and procedures. 4. Proficiency in tax software and accounting systems. 5. Exceptional ability to manage and coordinate audit projects. 6. Excellent analytical skills with a strong focus on accuracy and attention to detail. 7. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a team. 8. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 9. Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make informed decisions. 10. Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines. 11. High level of integrity and professionalism. 12. Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
