01/20/2025 to 08/31/2025 Pay Rate:
$86.67/hr. Key Responsibilities:
Design and optimize data structures, ensuring full utilization of Snowflake's features. Create blueprints for data storage, processing, and access within Snowflake. Optimize data pipelines and workflows for performance, scalability, and cost-efficiency. Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes and data storage strategies. Integrate Snowflake with other cloud services, third-party tools, and on-premises systems. Implement strategies for secure data access, including encryption and role-based access control. Collaborate with data engineers, scientists, and analysts to meet their requirements. Monitor and optimize Snowflake performance, automating tasks with SQL and scripting languages. Manage Snowflake Virtual Warehouses and configure alerts for data pipeline issues. Candidate Skills and Qualifications:
Required:
8+ years of experience in data modeling, integration, warehousing, governance, and security. Proficiency in Snowflake architecture and components, including databases, procedures, tasks, and streams. Expertise in Snowflake cloning, warehouse management, and performance optimization. Experience with Snowflake RBAC, SSO, SCIM, and data integration tools like Informatica and ADF. Strong technical writing and diagramming skills, with proficiency in tools like Visio and Erwin. Experience on agile sprint teams and with JIRA software. Knowledge of Informatica 10.5 and Cognos Analytics 11.1. Preferred:
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, healthcare industry experience, and working with PII or PHI data. Prior experience with HHS agencies, HL7 data, and Azure. Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field.
