Job Summary
This faculty position is a full-time, tenure track in-person role within the Physician Assistant program and helps to oversee the didactic education component. Areas of focus will include teaching in areas of expertise including individual, lab, and team-teaching of courses. This individual will work closely with the Program Director and the Director of Didactic Education (DDE) and will collaborate closely with all faculty, staff, and affiliated healthcare institutions.
Compensation:
Assistant Professor $55,599 - $70,043 Commensurate with experience.
Associate Professor $62,927 - $84,168 Commensurate with experience.
Full professor $77,265-$95,904 Commensurate with experience.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with the Program Director in the delivery of the Master of Science inPhysician Assistant (MSPA) program. * Participate in teaching in areas of expertise including individual, lab, and team-teaching of courses. * Evaluate student progress and achievement of essential practice skills, including didactic and clinical competencies. * Provide remedial instruction to students. * Collaborate in ongoing development of the program including program mission, goals, and curriculum design, implementation, coordination, and evaluation. * Serve as an advisor to PA students as assigned by the program director. * Contribute to the development of admission processes for students, including recruitment, screening, and selection of applicants. * Participate in the program's self-assessment process for accreditation. * Assist with recruitment of clinical rotation sites for PA students (when needed). * Participate in scholarly activities (tenure track) or clinical practice (clinical track). * Serve on program, college, and university committees. * Represent the PA program at university and other organizational functions. * Engage in community activities and associations which promote the PA profession. * Mentor PA students in the integration of faith and medicine as they develop into practitioners.

Experience
The candidate must be a board-certified Physician Assistant (Master's degree or higher), or an allopathic or osteopathic physician, preferably with 3+ years of clinical experience. The ideal candidate will have experience in teaching, preferably in higher education, or having served as a clinical preceptor for healthcare students (PA, NP or medical student).
