Full-Time Creative Content & Social Media Summer Internship

A Full-Time Summer Internship with the Hudson Valley Renegades provides an opportunity to see behind the curtain of what it takes to operate a renowned Minor League Baseball operation. The knowledge and experience you will gain here will help you grow in your professional career, whether that is in sports or elsewhere. As a full-time Creative Content & Social Media Summer Intern, you will assist in the execution of the Renegades' 31st season, and fifth as the High-A Affiliate of the New York Yankees and learn how to effectively manage social media marketing for a brand to achieve multiple goals. Candidates must be willing to put in long hours for the entire season, from the end of your school year through late-August/early-September. Applicants must not have another internship or job for the summer.

The Creative Content & Social Media Interns will work closely with the Manager, Social Media & Marketing and the Renegades Creative Services team to craft compelling and effective social media campaigns, manage posting schedule, and capture interesting and compelling content that showcases and enhances the brand of the Hudson Valley Renegades.

Qualifications:

• Experience with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and Premiere preferred
• Strong knowledge of the game of baseball preferred
• College student with a minimum of two years of undergraduate hours completed
• Excellent written & verbal communication skills
• Strong time management & organizational skills
• Ability to work well with a team and in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent customer service skills & ability to build rapport with customers
• Focused on personal & professional growth
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends & holidays
• Must reside near the Hudson Valley, be able to commute and/or be willing to relocate
