Digital Media Intern

The Digital Media Intern will contribute to the Peoria Chiefs social media, marketing, and creative services departments by filming and editing videos to promote Peoria Chiefs games and events and contributing to team social media accounts. This position will play a key role in capturing and producing engaging content for distribution on various mediums including social media, website, stadium in-game presentation, and advertising. The role also helps execute team social media goals, both while creating and posting content during games.

Responsibilities:

• Film and edit videos highlighting the team, player stories, and community.
• Help manage the team's online presence, contributing video content on social media.
• Capture the overall gameday experience on and off the field to help create engaging content and drive ticket sales.
• Edit highlight clips during games to be shared on social media accounts.
• Assist in the creation of content, working with the Creative Services Manager to plan the team's social media and campaigns.

Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Proficient in video production techniques within the Adobe Creative Cloud.
• Experience filming content on video devices including mobile phones and cameras.
• Knowledge and skill in social media content creating.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

This position runs from March 26 - August 31.
