Duties and Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct one-on-one ABA therapy in various settings (home, school, community) according to behavior intervention plans designed by the BCBA.
- Carefully collect data on client behavior during therapy sessions.
- Assist in the formulation and upkeep of individualized treatment plans.
- Collaborate effectively with the BCBA and team to ensure consistent treatment approaches.
- Help clients develop essential skills in communication, socialization, self-help, and academics.
- Provide valuable feedback to the BCBA regarding client progress and behavioral observations.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of client information and uphold ethical behavior analysis standards.
Compensation and Schedule:
- Pay range: $20 - $25/hour.
- Options for full-time or part-time shifts.
Skills and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; some college coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred.
- Preferred completion of Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) training program; we offer courses for new staff.
- Current RBT certification through the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB).
- Experience with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with principles and techniques of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA).
- Ability to effectively implement behavior intervention plans and ABA techniques.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation for travel to client locations as needed.
