Regional Sales Director

The ideal candidate for this role will be located in the Chicago, IL or Indianapolis, IN metro area.

Job Summary:

The Regional Sales Director will be responsible for leading and overseeing sales operations across multiple territories within a given region focused on growing both top and bottom-line growth. This Regional Sales Director will be driving growth by developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy to achieve and exceed revenue targets for the region. This individual is the owner of their region; creating the vision, building, and executing plans to achieve the vision, leading and empowering teams to reach new heights while managing cost and allocating spend that has the greatest impact on growth through existing or new business.

Job Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the territories within region to achieve and exceed revenue targets that align with business objectives. Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive activities to drive revenue growth opportunities. Educate team on significant industry factors including competitive products, regulations, trends, customer needs, and pricing. Set clear goals and performance expectations while providing ongoing coaching and feedback to set the team up for success. Actively engaged with the team in the field to support, coach and course correct where necessary. Monitor sales metrics and analyze performance data to identify opportunities for improvement. Establish sales promotion budget and track budget-to-actual. Prepare reports on sales progress and present findings to Senior leadership. Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, distributors, and partners within territory. Expand Broan-NuTone's presence in the territory by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as marketing and product teams to achieve business objectives. Job Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field 7+ years of sales experience, with at least 3 years in a leadership role managing a team. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a regional capacity Strong understanding of construction sales Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills Proficient in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite Ability to travel as needed within territory. Physical Requirements:

Ability to travel up to X% of the time to visit customers and Broan - NuTone events. Ability to work remotely. Ability to lift to 50 lbs. Periodically.
