Who we are looking for:
Brandwoven is looking for a high-powered Account Director to lead and grow our sporting and outdoor clients to success on the Amazon platform. The AD drives strategy and implementation for a set of clients with the support of Client Success Managers, Catalog Specialists and other internal resources. The successful candidate can seamlessly drive large initiatives within enterprise organizations, have a deep knowledge and understanding of the retail marketplace, and can see the big picture, guiding our clients towards a healthy business both on and off Amazon. The AD also participates in the business development process, bringing qualified brands into our management.
Responsibilities:
- Full P&L ownership of the Sports and Outdoor category at Brandwoven.
- Lead strategic direction for our client’s Amazon business (and Amazon in relation to other aspects of their business) and oversee all aspects of implementation.
- Manage a team of Client Success Managers who help to service the day to day needs of our clients.
- Utilize existing relationships and inbound marketing to bring new business to the S&O category.
- Accountable for meeting and exceeding all quantitative and qualitative metrics set for each account.
- Consult with the highest levels of our clients’ organizations on best practices related to Amazon (relative to the clients’ definition of success).
- Troubleshoot and problem-solve every day.
- Ownership of assigned accounts performance metrics including sales, marketing, inventory etc.
- Act as the Amazon subject matter expert when interacting with clients – there is no problem you can’t solve.
Successful Candidates:
- 5+ year's experience in sales and/or marketing role with a consumer products company – outdoor industry experience required.
- 3+ years experience working directly with Amazon and possess expert level knowledge of how it works in both Seller Central or Vendor Central
- Have a thorough understanding of the Amazon environment and how it relates to other channels of trade (Big box, e-commerce, independent retailers, distribution).
- Drive change with a track record of turning great ideas into reality.
- Willingness to roll up their sleeves and deep dive into our clients business.
- Demonstrated ability to think independently.
- Aptitude to interact and influence all levels of an organization – including C Suite.
- Unwavering commitment to client service.
- An extreme eye for detail and planning; nothing slips through the cracks.
- Experience managing large, ongoing projects.
