Description Amazon Web Services, the leader in cloud computing is looking for a Principal Product Manager to define and drive the long-term strategy for Amazon Braket, our quantum computing cloud service. Our goal is to be the trusted voice for customers who want to begin there journey in quantum computing and to enable experts to innovate through advanced research and experimentation with a broad range of quantum computing technologies. Key job responsibilities You will be responsible for defining the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for Amazon Braket with a high degree of ownership. You thrive in the face of considerable ambiguity, work backwards from customer requirements, and advocate for scrappy, frugal solutions that move the needle for customers. The successful candidate will be highly technical and can partner effectively with engineering and science builders within the Braket team and across other AWS services, while at the same time having strong business acumen. The successful candidate will work closely across go-to-market, sales, and marketing teams to synthesize customer requirements into a compelling message, delivering against our product and commercial strategy. The candidate will have demonstrated experience in taking ownership of their portfolio of products as a business, with a relentless focus on driving sustained customer adoption and growth. A day in the life Lead the product management team to define and document the strategy and roadmap for the Amazon Braket service. Be the primary contact for customer and partner engagement, gathering feedback and insights, testing ideas, and promoting adoption. Describe requirements and priorities for new products and features, iterating with engineering and science builders to build consensus around an achievable roadmap. Act as the voice of the customer in continuously raising the bar for the operational performance of the Braket service as a core component in the AWS portfolio. Own the commercial model of the Braket service, defining pricing, tracking key success metrics, and reporting on our business performance. Manage the commercial and contractual relationships with our quantum hardware partners and suppliers. Basic Qualifications Bachelor's degree 7+ years of technical product or program management experience Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition Experience working with and influencing senior level stakeholders Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in quantum technologies, launching and delivering quantum products or features. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
