Job Title: Warehouse Manager

Location: Portland, OR

Job Type: Full-time

Shift and Schedule: 8 hour shift, Day shift, Monday to Friday

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour

A Warehouse Manager plays a crucial role in the efficient operation of a warehouse or distribution center. This position involves overseeing various aspects, including inventory management, personnel supervision, safety compliance, process improvement, and customer service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Overseeing Warehouse Operations: Supervise and coordinate all warehouse activities, including receiving and storage.
  2. Inventory Management: Ensure optimal inventory levels are maintained, and assess and optimize storage space utilization.
  3. Personnel Management: Train and manage warehouse staff, overseeing scheduling and task assignments.
  4. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety standards and regulations, providing proper training to staff on safety procedures.
  5. Process Improvement: Identify areas for operational improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and productivity.
  6. Budget Management: Manage the warehouse budget, allocate resources effectively, and control costs while maintaining financial reporting accuracy.
  7. Customer Service: Ensure timely and accurate processing of customer orders and address inquiries and concerns promptly.
  8. Reporting: Generate regular reports on warehouse operations, including inventory levels, productivity, and financial performance.
  9. Technology and Automation: Evaluate and implement new technologies and automation systems to enhance warehouse operations.
