The Warehouse Manager (WM) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the distribution center, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness in all processes. This role requires a strong leader who can enforce policies consistently, promote teamwork, and foster a culture of open communication and continuous development.
Shift Schedule: Sunday - Thursday 4:30 pm - 1:30 am
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership and Management:
- Demonstrate consistent follow-through on all initiatives to build credibility and trust within the team.
- Enforce company policies, procedures, and rules fairly and consistently across all staff.
- Promote teamwork and collaboration across shifts and departments, including dayshift, nightshift, inventory, and maintenance.
- Develop and implement metrics to measure the success of new initiatives or changes.
- Empower direct reports to take ownership of their roles by encouraging decision-making and innovation.
Communication:
- Maintain open and honest communication with all team members to ensure transparency and eliminate surprises during performance reviews.
- Conduct mid-year and year-end reviews to provide employees with feedback on their performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of all required documentation, including accident reports, near-miss incidents, and disciplinary actions, while maintaining objectivity.
Succession Planning and Development:
- Train and develop employees to perform at high levels, enhancing overall team morale and productivity.
- Maintain adequate staffing levels and hire proactively with future needs in mind.
- Identify and develop high-potential associates for advancement within the organization.
- Engage in self-development by actively working on your Individual Development Plan (IDP).
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in warehouse management or a similar leadership role.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations, policies, and procedures.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to lead, train, and develop a diverse team.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to implement and measure change effectively.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. In addition to base pay, other compensation, such as an annual bonus or long-term incentive opportunities may be offered.
Our Base Pay Range for this position: $62,700 - $104,500
