Dental Assistant Job at Vineyards Dental & Implants, PLLC in Sterling Heights

Roles and Responsibilities:

· Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative and surgical procedures.

· Take dental radiographs (X-rays)

· Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment, ensuring compliance with infection control protocols.

· Maintain and organize dental instruments, equipment, and supplies.

· Ensure patient comfort and provide excellent patient care before, during, and after dental procedures.

· Record treatment information in patient records and assist with charting.

· Educate patients on postoperative and general oral health care.

· Assist with front office tasks, including scheduling appointments and handling patient inquiries.

· Manage laboratory cases, including preparing and sending cases to the lab and tracking their return.

· Support the dental team in maintaining a clean and organized office environment.
