Phlebotomist Job at PRIDE Healthcare in Nashville

Pride Health is hiring a Phlebotomist to support our client’s medical facility based in Nashville TN. This is a full-time contract of 3 months with possibilities of extension or conversion to permanent opportunity and a great way to start working with a top-tier healthcare organization!

Position: Phlebotomist

Shift: Mondays and Tuesdays 10 AM - 7:30 PM, Wednesdays and Thursdays 8 AM - 5:30 PM, Fridays 9 AM - 3 PM

Duration: 3+ months Contract with possibilities of extension/ Conversion to fulltime

Location: Nashville TN

Pay Range: $17 - $19.50/ hour based on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Experience with drawing blood, labeling specimens, centrifuging specimens, recording maintenance data and decontamination, updating patient information, etc.
• Collecting and storing specimens according to established procedures.
• Explaining the process of the venipuncture (blood drawing) and or other specimen collection (ex. urine or fecal) as required.
• Demonstrating technique/s using straight needles and/or butterfly needles.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Phlebotomy certification Preferred.

*Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
