Must demonstrate teaching skills by selecting and implementing instructional strategies for teaching, and assessing student achievement of the learning objectives of the program. Teaching experience Phlebotomy; Teaching faculty will:
- Meet with courses and laboratories at scheduled times.
- Instruct, advise, consult with and evaluate the performance of enrolled students.
- Develop and maintain course outlines, syllabi, lesson plans, course reference/bibliography, assignments, tests, and other course materials.
- Maintain student records, attendance, grades, and/or other documentation as required.
Typical Qualifications
- Minimum of an AAS degree in related field.
- Current state licensure and/or American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) certification.
- Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
Supplemental Information
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- At least three 3-5 years' experience in teaching on a college level and affiliated with an accredited PHB program. Experience with developing didactic and clinical outcomes/curricula on a program and course level. Excellent technology and classroom management skills.
