Administrative Assistant
Location: Hagerstown, MD
Schedule: In-office, Monday to Friday
Hours: 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay: $20/hour
Employment Type: Temp-to-Hire
Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrative Assistant to support our sales and estimating teams. This role is critical in ensuring smooth operations and effective communication within the organization and with clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and send correspondence to customers and internal stakeholders.
- Handle telephone inquiries and follow up with clients as needed.
- Distribute information to the appropriate personnel and departments.
- Use Microsoft Word to create and format proposals using templates.
- Maintain proficiency in Adobe, Outlook, Excel, and Word to support daily tasks.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree or relevant certification preferred.
- Experience:
- 1-3 years in an office administration or support role.
- Experience with Navision, construction, or estimating is a plus.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and customer service orientation.
