**Position is located in Alpena, SD and requires reporting to the office in Alpena on a daily basis**

Stan’s is a family owned, diverse organization with opportunities spanning multiple business units. Stan’s primary purpose is that of a national logistics provider offering many services including trucking of refrigerated goods, dry goods, grains, and feed ingredients and the manufacturing and sales of feed.

Duties and Responsibilities Included, but not limited to:

  • Assist with:

    • Human Resources:

      • Social media development, content management and communications

      • Website development and maintenance

      • New hire onboarding processes

      • Performance evaluation preparation

      • Updating and maintaining company phone and employee listings

      • Ordering and inventories (supplies and apparel)

      • Donation requests

      • Planning and organization of company events, including creation of monthly newsletter, flyers, posters and announcements.

    • Compliance:

      • With applicable requirements and laws in the areas of DOT, FMCSA & OSHA.

      • Fleet management, including licensing, registrations and renewals.

    • Safety:

      • Participate on Safety Committee and assist with safety training, functions and activities

    • And any other duties as assigned.

      Education and/or Experience:

    • Minimum 1-2 years relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience in Human Resources, Operations or Administrative Management professions.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook, including design softwares (such as Publisher, Adobe Suites).
    • Must be highly personable and have the ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
    • Detail oriented; have a high degree of persistence, motivation, self-discipline and follow up.
    • Possess strong computer, mathematical and analytical skills for understanding processes; be able to draw conclusions and make recommendations for process improvements.
    • Possess strong communication and people skills to work with varying levels of company employees on various projects.
