Duties

• Advise clients on legal rights and draft necessary legal documents.
• Represent clients at pretrial hearings and provide strategic guidance following each hearing.
• Handle court appearances, trial preparation, motion drafting, witness interviews, and legal research.
• Analyze probable case outcomes based on legal precedents.
• Manage a workload of cases, ensuring timely and thorough case preparation.
• Conduct legal analysis to identify potential case benefits for clients.
• Gather additional evidence to support clients’ cases or counter prosecution charges.
• Prepare clients for depositions, gather information from witnesses and experts, and develop case strategies.

Requirements

• Interest in Criminal Defense, demonstrated through law school clinics, volunteer work, or internships.
• Juris Doctor (JD) degree.
• Active bar admission or recent law graduate awaiting admission.
• Team-oriented with a collaborative mindset.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred, though not required.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage a caseload.
• Familiarity with Case Management Software preferred.

Education

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

Certifications
