Entry-Level Entry-Level Machinist
Location: Simi Valley, CA
Salary: $23.00/hr
Schedule: 2nd Shift (3:00 PM - 12:00 AM)
Position: Full-Time, Temp-to-Hire
Start your career in aerospace manufacturing! We are seeking an Entry-Level Machinist to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic and supportive environment.
 

Entry-Level Machinist Responsibilities

• Perform spherical lapping using a drill press.
• Deburr parts by smoothing internal and external edges.
• Use tools like Dremels, die grinders, and polishing wheels.
• Make machine adjustments (time/pressure) as needed.
• Measure parts with calipers and check threads with thread gauges.
• Follow detailed written instructions on work orders.
• Walk between work areas, wash tanks, and gauging stations.
• Communicate process updates to the team lead.

Entry-Level Machinist Requirements

• Prior experience in an industrial environment.
• Basic understanding of machining measurements.
• Ability to make simple machine adjustments.
• Follow written instructions accurately.
• Lift 25 lbs (up to 50 lbs with help).
• Sit and stand frequently throughout the shift.
• Team player with strong safety awareness.
