Description
Glenville State University is seeking a qualified and dedicated candidate for the position of Full-Time Certified Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. This position is a full-time, 12-month appointment, with adequate time-off given during summer/off months. The candidate will report to the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach and serve a 12-month appointment.
Examples of Duties
*Primary Coach for 4 teams; Assist with 3-4 teams including Football.
*Assist in the oversight and execution of the department's sanitation and safety efforts in the weight room.
*Assisting the Head S&C Coach in daily office operations.
*Assisting the Head S&C Coach with the execution of necessary administrative detail within the athletic department.
*Data entry, GPS Tracking
*Assisting in the department's fundraising efforts and community service activities.
Typical Qualifications
*Accredited Certification (CSCS/SCCC)
*An undergraduate degree.
*Excellent leadership skills.
*Sound interpersonal skills.
*Strong organizational skills.
*Solid written and verbal skills.
*Basic computer literacy.

TIAA Total Disability Benefits Plan: Optional employees coverage that provides (1) monthly income and (2) payments of premiums to your TIAA/CREF retirement plan to participating employees who suffer total, long-term disabilities. The cost is adjusted according to individual salary on a yearly basis. Employees become eligible upon completion of the first year of employment.
