We are searching for a skilled Accounting and Payroll Specialist to join our team in Jackson, Michigan. This role offers a short-term contract employment opportunity, where you will be tasked with handling customer applications, keeping precise customer records, and managing customer inquiries. Additionally, you will monitor customer accounts and take necessary actions.


Responsibilities:

• Perform full cycle payroll operations and administer benefits

• Handle accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)

• Use Accounting Software Systems and Microsoft Excel to manage accounting functions

• Oversee the billing functions and process checks

• Use QuickBooks for various accounting tasks

• Generate Union Reports

• Use ADP - Financial Services, and Concur for financial services and expense management

• Update and maintain accurate records in Great Plains (GPAC)

• Process customer credit applications with accuracy and efficiency

• Ensure the maintenance of accurate customer credit records.

• Proficient in Accounting Software Systems.

• Mastery of Microsoft Excel.

• Comprehensive knowledge of Accounting Functions.

• Experienced in handling Accounts Payable (AP).

• Skilled in managing Accounts Receivable (AR).

• Capable of performing Billing Functions effectively.

• Familiarity with Check Processing.

• Proficiency in using QuickBooks.

• Experience in Full Cycle Payroll.

• Knowledge of Benefits Administration.
