We are in search of a proficient Human Resources and Benefits Manager to join our team in the Food & Food Processing industry located in El Segundo, California. As a Human Resources and Benefits Manager, your main role will be to oversee payroll and benefits operations, handle HR audits, maintain compliance, and manage employee records. This role offers a short term contract employment opportunity.

Responsibilities:
• Oversee the administration and reporting of payroll, benefits, time & attendance, and 401k for all regional companies
• Handle all HR related inquiries professionally from HR, employees, and management
• Support the onboarding of new employees by ensuring timely payroll and benefits setup
• Maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders such as brokers, vendors, service providers, record keepers, investment advisors, and legal counsel
• Manage the renewal of programs and maintain timelines with expiration dates/renewal dates for all employee programs
• Ensure compliance with applicable Federal & State rules and regulations
• Assist in the company's restructuring or mergers/acquisitions processes
• Manage all employee files and documents
• Oversee the HRIS audit processes
• Lead all payroll, benefit plan, and HR audits
• Assist in the development and implementation of HR policies and procedures.• Proven experience in the Food & Food Processing industry
• Proficiency in using ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and HCM software
• Demonstrated ability to manage Benefit Functions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong understanding and ability to ensure Compliance in all HR practices
• Proven capability in managing Employee Relations effectively
• Experience in developing, improving, and implementing Hiring Processes
• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field preferred
