Working as a member of a project team, the Technician I is primarily responsible for enhancing over-all job site productivity and ensuring high-quality work
The Technician will work with multiple aspects of the cable deployment process, testing and troubleshooting fiber and copper, rack and stack, etc.
Reads and interprets all floor plans, drawings, specifications, and cut sheets
Performs system testing and troubleshooting as required
Terminates, labels, tests and troubleshoots optical fiber and copper installations
Proactively oversee and lead job site organization and basic housekeeping maintenance
Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Maintain satisfactory compliance with customer security requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, talk or hear, use hands, stoop, kneel, bend, rotate, push, pull, reach with hands and arms on intermittent to regular basis daily
There could be a requirement of occasional travel by conventional means including aircraft, motor vehicle and the like within the region and to other locations as required
Background Knowledge:
- Knows termination color codes
- Worked in commercial cabling environment
- Fiber experience
- Datacenter buildout experience
- Experience installing cable trays
- Labor background
- Must have basic tools and steel toed/ composite boots
Qualifications:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

- Ability to pass a drug screen
Positions Available:
- Tech 2: $28-32
- Lead Tech: $32-38
Additional:
- Option to enroll in 401k, Medical, Dental, Vision
- Project is located in Chandler, Arizona
- Hours: 6am start. 60 hour weeks (expect over time)
