Job Description
Summary: Seeking a SR Warranty Administrator and Repair Technician to repair and test customized telecommunications equipment, and mentor junior staff.
Job Requirements:
2-year technical degree desired
At least 8 years of experience in the assembly and testing of complex communications systems
Experience with system configuration documentation for telecommunications equipment
Knowledge of AC/DC electrical system connections and electronic hardware assembly techniques
Preferred Skills:
Trained or certified soldering skills
Experience with computer hardware, software, and peripherals
Job Responsibilities:
Conduct equipment debug and repairs to board level
Perform root cause analyses and initiate process improvement activities
Build, test, troubleshoot new design hardware using layouts and wiring diagrams
Perform formal Repair Acceptance Testing with Customer representatives
Assemble, install, wire backplanes, subassembly carriers into Communications System rack assemblies
Pay Details: $33.00 to $45.00 per hour
