Job Summary

West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC), recognized as a top 10 community college in the nation by The Aspen Institute five consecutive times and twice as a Finalist with Distinction, invites applications for the position of Applied Technologies (Air Conditioning, Automotive, Collision Repair, Diesel Tech, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing & Machining, Mechatronics, Welding) Adjunct Faculty Pool. Job Duties:

Instructors plan and carry out instructional activities, maintain records and reports on student attainment and progress, and participate in professional development activities.

Supervision and instruction of students in Air Conditioning, Automotive, Collision Repair, Diesel Tech, Industrial Maintenance, Manufacturing & Machining, Mechatronics, or Welding.

Minimum Qualifications:

West Kentucky Community & Technical College (WKCTC) employs competent faculty members qualified to accomplish the mission and goals of the institution. When determining acceptable qualifications of faculty, WKCTC gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree in the discipline in accordance with College guidelines. The College also considers competence, effectiveness, and capacity, including, as appropriate, undergraduate and graduate degrees, diplomas, and certificates in the teaching area, related work experiences in the field, professional licensure and certifications, honors and awards, continuous documented excellence in teaching or other demonstrated competencies and achievements that contribute to effective teaching and student learning outcomes. The qualifications for faculty teaching full-time, adjunct or dual credit courses at West Kentucky Community & Technical College are the same.

Total compensation is calculated on a per-course basis according to the WKCTC part time faculty salary schedule.
