Scion Nonprofit Staffing has been engaged to conduct an immediate search for an experienced Vice President, Strategic Partnerships and Business Development on behalf of our client, a respected financial services association in New York, NY. Our client provides educational programs and member, political action, and public relations services to enhance New York�s financial industry. Their focus is on major policy initiatives within the industry, networking opportunities, and professional development. This position is for immediate hire and works on a hybrid schedule from 10 AM to 5 PM at the office on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays and from 9 AM to 5 PM remotely on Wednesdays and Fridays.

Company DescriptionRESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead business development efforts to secure and expand relationships with member banks and new prospects, driving non-dues revenue. Develop and implement effective sales strategies, marketing plans, and initiatives to support organizational growth and align with the organizationâ?™s revenue objectives.
- Spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive business development strategies, ensuring alignment with industry trends and member needs, particularly in financial technology and innovative banking products.
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate the business development team, setting clear expectations and performance goals. Foster a collaborative, results-driven environment that encourages continuous improvement and accountability.
- Manage and cultivate long-term relationships with current clients, ensuring high satisfaction, retention, and engagement levels. Track and monitor contractual agreements and client data to ensure compliance and successful outcomes.
- Develop and monitor key performance metrics, including revenue goals, sales pipeline progress, and team performance. Oversee budgeting, P&L management, and long-term financial planning to ensure business development initiativesâ?™ financial health and success.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- 12+ years of experience in financial services, sales, or strategic planning, focusing on driving business development and revenue growth.
- Proven leadership experience, with 5+ years managing teams, setting expectations, and motivating staff to achieve performance goals.
- Demonstrated success in business development, including experience with sales strategies and exceeding revenue targets.
- Experience developing and executing sales and marketing plans with a strategic mindset to support organizational growth.
- Familiarity with financial technology and innovative banking products, with a strong ability to identify and capitalize on trends.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and executives in a collaborative environment.
- Willingness to travel within New York State; hybrid work environment.
- Established connections within the banking or financial services sectors in New York preferred.
