We are in search of a Financial Data Analyst to join our team in the agriculture industry located in Salinas, California. As a Financial Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in analyzing financial data, formulating reports, and providing insights that will contribute to the future growth of our operations.
Responsibilities
• Analyze financial data, recognizing and interpreting trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement.
• Lead the annual forecasting process and provide monthly variance updates, ensuring timely communication, preparation, and delivery of these reports.
• Develop and maintain financial models, projections, and scenarios that will support strategic planning and decision-making processes.
• Conduct market and industry research and benchmarking to assess the company's performance and competitiveness in the agriculture industry.
• Offer financial guidance and support to various departments and projects, enriching areas such as sales, procurement, operations, etc.
• Aid in the design and implementation of dashboards as required.
• Perform ad hoc financial analysis and modeling to support management decisions.
• Handle the responsibility of processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain accurate customer credit records.• Proficiency in Actuarial Analysis
• Ability to perform Ad Hoc Analysis and Ad Hoc Financial Analysis
• Strong skills in data Analysis
• Demonstrated experience in Analysis documentation
• Expertise in Analysis of Alternatives and Analysis planning
• Solid knowledge of Financial Analysis and Financial Analytics
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Power BI, Power BI, and Power Business Intelligence tools
• Familiarity with Tableau software for data visualization
• Experience with Microsoft SQL and Microsoft SQL Server
• Proficiency in MySQL Database management
