We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Senior Data Analyst in New York. As a Senior Data Analyst, you will be instrumental in conducting in-depth data analysis, developing business solutions, and consulting with stakeholders to document business requirements. Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive data analysis for various projects and data quality initiatives
• Develop business solutions through meticulous research and data analysis
• Consult with business stakeholders to document clear and concise business requirements
• Utilize SQL and other database structures to manage large and diverse datasets
• Spearhead data mining activities on large datasets to supplement data management quality improvement initiatives
• Present comprehensive reports with analysis and interpretation for business review and strategic planning
• Implement data management lifecycle tools and master data/reference data programs
• Leverage project management methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, and SAFe in project execution
• Utilize project management organizational or visualization tools such as Jira, Confluence, Microsoft Project, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, SmartSheet, Wrike, or Rally
• Apply creativity and process improvement skills to improve existing processes and create new ones in line with data governance best practices
• Leverage knowledge of statistical analysis and statistical software such as SAS, SPSS, or R for data analysis.• Demonstrated proficiency in Planning and Research
• Proven experience in Review and Project Management
• Previous Consulting experience, preferably within a similar industry
• Technical proficiency in SQL and Data Analysis
• Ability to effectively communicate and negotiate with Stakeholders
• Knowledge of and adherence to Best Practices in the field
• A proven track record in Process Improvement
• Proficiency in Computer Sciences
• Experience with project management and team collaboration tools such as JIRA
• Ability to write comprehensive Business Requirement Documents
• Creativity in problem-solving and data interpretation
• Familiarity with Scrum methodologies
• Demonstrated skills in Data Management
• Experience in preparing Datasets for analysis
• Proficiency in data Visualization tools and techniques
