We are inviting applications for the position of a Senior Data Reporting Analyst. The role is based in New York and is within the financial services industry. The position entails a long-term contract employment opportunity where the successful candidate will be expected to coordinate with various partners, develop execution plans, and design business reports.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinating with Product, Engineering & Business partners to comprehend data models and data insight needs.
• Developing strategies to capture necessary data and providing ad hoc data analysis.
• Creating intelligence dashboards for continuous data insights and promoting their regular usage among the internal user community.
• Designing business reports to track and convey key performance and usage metrics for Enterprise Technology systems.
• Utilizing scripting languages like Python and demonstrating strong SQL skills for various tasks.
• Performing data modeling & data analysis using tools such as Qlik Sense, Excel, Jupyter, etc.
• Exercising critical thinking skills and creativity to solve problems, prioritize work, and maintain flexibility.
• Organizing and communicating information to a wide variety of audiences, displaying strong written, verbal, visual, and quantitative skills.
• Collaborating with customer support, back-end development, and business teams, and with individuals having a wide variety of technical and non-technical backgrounds.• Position: Senior Data Reporting Analyst
• Required minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
• Proficiency in Qlik, Qlik Sense and QlikView tools
• Expertise in SQL for database management and querying
• Familiarity with Jupyter and Jupyter Notebook for data analysis
• Proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation
• Expertise in Microsoft Excel for data organization and analysis
• Demonstrated experience in data reporting
• Proficiency in data analysis and data analytics
• Experience with Business Intelligence (BI) strategies and implementations
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence and Reporting Tools (BIRT)
