Job Description:
  • Provide general support to the agency in its projects funded under the CDC Public Health Infrastructure Grant (PHIG).
  • Cataloging and organization of agency data resources with the ultimate goal of creating a public-facing agency-wide data catalog.
  • ssisting with the selection and implementation of an updated process for managing external requests for data and public records.
  • Supporting the creation and implementation of project timelines.
  • Consistent and effective communication with agency staff supporting the projects, and maintaining focus on the project goals and meeting deadlines.
  • ssist with collecting, organizing and leveraging large amounts of data across multiple subject matters to enable more accessible utilization and analysis of the data using data lakes, warehouses, lakehouses, catalogs, etc.
Skills and Experience:
  • Provide the minimum required skills and experience the contractor must possess to qualify for this position.

  • Experience participating in all day-to-day aspects (planning, organizing, budgeting, etc.) of multi-faceted data management and/or modernization projects.

  • Experience working with multiple types of vendors of modern data management and analysis software, systems, and applications.
Preferred/Not Required:
  • Provide any skills/experience that would be helpful for the candidate to possess but not required. Examples: Previous supervisory.
  • Experience, WebLogic experience helpful, etc.
  • Governmental data modernization or project management experience.
Scoring Method Criteria:
  • Interoperability and Data Modernization experience - 20.
  • IT project management experience - 20.
  • Technical environment (server, database, HL7, SQL, EHR, etc.) experience - 25.
  • Government, security, regulatory, and privacy experience - 15.
  • Interpersonal skills - 20.
  • Score Percentage Must equal 100%.
