Examples of what "Research" they would be doing...?
-customer calls into charter then agent troubleshoot issues - uses Agent OS - their team owns those tools:
-Automations to help power cycle equipment
-look at Channel lineups to make sure they're subscribed to the correct things
-Get that data^^ from existing services or new services other people have made - researching where data is coming from - from biller, an underlying service, etc.
-They need to understand what it looks life, what's the format, where is it coming from
-Working with devs to document where it is coming from in the sequence diagrams etc.
Where is this data stored?
-Several dif data end points that house the data - someone in the middle that house the data - source from biller etc.
-EWS - enterprise web services - middle man that houses the data - tell them customer is eligible to get certain services - they are pulling that data from the biller or from where that customer lives, etc.
-Then they go to EWS via an API - hey is this customer eligible for fiber?
Documentation piece?
-sequence diagram - shows where data comes from & how interaction for them to use it
-Ex: data comes from biller through EWS - then we use in AgentOS & what we do with it
UI component - showing certain colors, markings, etc. based on the data to show what customers are/are not eligible for - making the UI more interactive to show data in better way to quickly access by the call center Agent to cut down on their research time
Ultimately this data goes into the customer profile in AgentOS
-used to Drive further sales or understand troubleshooting issues they're having
-agent gets calls for "hey my internet is down, channel missing from lineup why isn't it there, etc."
Not a lot of hands-on coding but some querying - pretty technical to follow along front end of design to be able to document
Younger dev looking to do something different
Or older dev that doesn't want to do hands-on coding anymore
Has dev background knowledge to be able to understand & help with documentation
